1. Background
Ason Towers Care Hub (“Ason Towers”, “we”, “us”) operates a safeguarded digital platform that helps connect:
• Consumers
• Providers
• Workers
across:
• aged care
• NDIS-related disability support
• allied health services.
The Platform may also include:
• job listings
• events
• webinars
• training resources
• community information.
Because services may occur in private homes or unsupervised environments, Ason Towers applies verification steps to support:
• trust
• safety
• platform integrity
• fraud prevention.
Verification improves transparency but does not replace user due diligence or legal obligations.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this Verification Policy is to explain:
• what information Ason Towers may require from Workers and Providers to display verified badges or eligibility markers
• what information may be required from Consumers to access certain platform functions.
These steps are collectively referred to as User Verification.
3. Scope
This policy applies to all platform users including:
• Consumers
• Providers (businesses and organisations)
• Workers (independent individuals or contractors)
• Event or webinar hosts where applicable.
4. How to Navigate This Policy

5. Definitions
Identification Document
An eligible identity document listed in Appendix A.
Service Type
A category of services offered through the platform such as:
• aged care supports
• disability supports
• allied health
• nursing
• transport services.
Verification
Steps taken by Ason Towers (or authorised third-party providers) to:
• check documentation
• confirm credentials
• verify identity or qualifications.
Verified Badge
A visual indicator showing that certain information was provided and checked at a point in time.
6. Verification Policy Statements (General)
a) Approval is at our discretion
Ason Towers may require verification before enabling certain features such as:
• posting jobs
• messaging
• applying for roles
• listing higher-risk services.
Approval decisions are made at Ason Towers’ reasonable discretion to maintain safety and integrity.
b) Verification is not a guarantee
Verification helps reduce risk but does not guarantee:
• service quality
• suitability of individuals
• safety outcomes
• regulatory compliance.
Users remain responsible for performing their own due diligence.
c) Service-type restrictions
Workers and Providers may only advertise services for which they meet verification requirements.
If services are advertised outside verified categories, Ason Towers may treat this as a platform incident and apply actions including:
• warnings
• restrictions
• suspension
• removal from the platform.
d) Criminal charges and safety notifications
Users must notify Ason Towers if they are charged with or convicted of serious offences related to:
• violence
• abuse
• neglect
• fraud
• crimes involving vulnerable persons.
e) Marketplace integrity and availability
To maintain marketplace balance and safety, Ason Towers may:
• pause new account approvals
• limit listings in certain locations
• restrict service categories.
f) Non-compliance
Failure to comply with verification requirements may be treated as a breach of Terms of Use or platform policies.
7. Verification for Consumers
a) Why Consumer verification may be required
Consumer verification helps:
• prevent fraud
• reduce impersonation
• protect workers and providers
• support safeguarding.
b) What may be verified
Ason Towers may verify:
• identity
• email and phone contact details
• account integrity indicators.
Identity verification may be optional in some cases but required for higher-risk functions such as:
• job posting
• messaging
• booking services.
c) Identity verification
Where required, a Consumer may need to verify identity using an approved identification document.
If a Consumer cannot provide required documentation, certain platform features may be restricted.
d) Handling identity information
Ason Towers aims to minimise identity data storage.
Where possible, the platform verifies information without storing full document copies.
Only necessary information such as name and date of birth may be retained.
All identity information is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
8. Verification for Workers and Providers
a) Why verification exists
Verification supports:
• safeguarding in unsupervised environments
• consumer confidence
• transparency and trust
• prevention of misrepresentation.
b) Baseline verification requirements
Before Workers or Providers can use key platform features, Ason Towers may require:
- completed profile information
- identity and age verification (18+)
- ABN verification where applicable
- screening checks relevant to the role
- reference checks
- declarations confirming truthfulness and safeguarding awareness.
c) Service-specific verification
Some service types require additional documentation such as:
• AHPRA registration
• professional memberships
• training certificates (first aid, CPR, manual handling)
• Working With Children Check
• driver licence for transport services
• immunisation declarations where required.
These may be displayed as verification badges on user profiles.
d) Renewals and expiry monitoring
Users are responsible for keeping credentials current.
Where credentials expire, Ason Towers may:
• remove verification badges
• restrict service categories
• suspend accounts until documentation is updated.
e) Reference checks
Where required, referees may be contacted by:
• phone
• written questionnaire.
References from immediate family members or partners are not accepted.
Additional references may be requested where concerns arise.
f) Training requirements
Ason Towers may require Workers or Providers to complete training modules related to:
• infection control
• safeguarding
• sector-specific compliance requirements.
9. Confidentiality and Privacy
Verification information is protected in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Third-party verification services may be used for:
• identity verification
• screening checks
• professional registration verification.
Only necessary verification status may be displayed to other users.
10. Changes to this Policy
Ason Towers may update this policy periodically.
Where new mandatory verification requirements are introduced for existing users, reasonable notice will be provided (generally at least 30 days, unless urgent for safety or legal reasons).
